Visiting your ancestral Black Sea German villages in what is now Ukraine is easier than ever. Tour Director Karolina Fromm will meet you with a van and driver, and take you where you want to go. The most logical arrival airport is Odessa. Flights into Odessa are available from several European transit points. Once you arrive in Odessa, you can leave all of the logistical details to Karolina, so that you can relax and enjoy your tour. Karolina has more than 10 years of experience hosting travel groups to the old German villages of old South Russia (ie. the Black Sea region of Ukraine, including Bessarabia, Odessa and Nikolaev regions, as well as Crimea.) A group of 4 to 6 people is a good way to share expenses, but the van normally used can accommodate 10 guest-travelers.
